The True meaning of March Ali Farokhmanesh and UNI

Wow what a weekend for UNI and the basketball team. There is a time in life that you can spend bitching about getting a raw deal with your seed and having to play the Number one team in the second round or you can grab you lunch pail and give it everything you got. That is just what they small school from Northern Iowa did. Kansas lead once in the whole game they scored the first basket. Then the team consider to slow having no NBA player stood toe to toe with the powerhouse Kansas and beat them. They came out punching and Down goes the champ down goes the champ!!

You have Jordan a team leader over the year that made a mistake late in the season but has played some great Basketball. Two for three at the three point line. 14 points in 18 min- A player that has spend most of his life being the biggest player on the court face some major size from KU and NEVER backed down.

Ali Farokhmanesh - What a fun player to watch. Nothing is better then watching a kid hit BIG Three point shot one after another. He has nerves of steal. He Might never play basketball again after this season but he will always be a legend in the Cedar Valley. Beck's need to build him his own wall and burger. Maybe rename the Three point line in Cedar Falls the Ali line.

Adam Koch who has been the team leader all year has not had two of his best games, at times he has looked scare like a freshman. The game over UNLV a shoot clock violation late because he wasn't going to shoot the ball. Had his best play in his career, rebounding the ball over 3 or 4 Kansas players spend a second and noticed he had the advantage and dunked that basketball with force and power to let the world now Were UNI and no matter what we came to work, WE WILL NEVER BACK DOWN.


In a week that Iowa Hawkeye fans are screaming for a big name coach that has an uptempo came plan that can bring in the big name African American player( faster-better athletes) One hour south there is a team, the only men's team in the state still playing. They play a defensive tempo team ball with player that at time are not considered big time players and some times are ugly but they get the job done. They have the second best defensive team in the Nation. For good reason, But hey Hawkeye nation you go get an uptempo coach because Panthernation would love to keep Coach around .
