High School Football Playoff started tonight in the State-

There are new rules to teams making the playoffs. Granted I don't want to go back to my Ventura Klemme days. ( Well I would kill to go back to those days) But 1989 and 1990 we had great teams- Each year one bad game killed us. We didn't make the playoff
s 14-2 in two years. However rules have went WAY TO crazy-

Ames (3-6)
Indianola (4-5)
Iowa City, West (3-6)
Cedar Rapids, Kennedy (4-5
Burlington (4-5)
Prairie, Cedar Rapids (3-6)

All these teams made the playoffs, and I'm not counting the teams that are 5-4. This is just a list of teams in 4A of the state-

I'm glad if a team loses two or even 3 games they might still make the playoffs however only winning three games- GIVE me a break-
